Oregon Legislature opens its first regular even-year legislative session today. Oregon's 90 citizen legislators will have 35 days to deal with a projected $300 million budget shortfall, as well as the specific interests of Gov. John Kitzhaber and rank-and-file lawmakers. Members of various Occupy movements also plan to converge on the Capitol, protesting money in politics and urging state funding for public services. Occupy the Legislature should be an all day event. Bioscience complex will house six local companies in 2013
From Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute: OTRADI today announced its plans to open and operate a 13,000 square-foot multi-tenant bioscience complex in the Willamette Wharf building at 4640 SW Macadam Avenue.
