New Seasons to open new Portland location

The local grocery store will open in North Portland at the corner of North Lombard Street and North Westanna Avenue.

It will create 150 jobs and the company says its goal is to hire as many staff as possible from the community surrounding the store.

Four additional stores are scheduled to open between fall 2014 and summer 2015.
