The Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute plans to add 2,500 square feet to its South Waterfront incubator.
The 13,000-square-foot incubator, which opened last June on Southwest Macadam Avenue, includes shared and private office and lab space and common areas where tenants can visit and toss around ideas.
“It’s been much more popular and needed and more of a resource that was lacking than we thought,” Fox said. “We promised it would be full in six months, with a gulp of ‘I hope we’re not crazy,’ and we were full in six weeks.”
