Apple to open new downtown Portland store

The new store will open its doors at 10 a.m. on May 31.

The new store dramatically upgrades Apple's current downtown location, in the basement of Pioneer Place. It's a 23,000-square-foot facility on a completely rebuilt site that used to house Saks Fifth Avenue. The new store is enclosed in Apple's signature glass façade.
