Greenbrier lands major barge order

The barge order will allow Greenbrier Cos. to hire 200 new workers.

The 200 new workers needed to work on the project will put Greenbrier’s total employment to more than 1,000 employees.

The order puts Greenbrier’s current marine backlog at $120 million, its highest level in nearly five years.
