Metro looking to curb tailpipe emissions

The regional government is collecting ideas on how to help Portland reduce tailpipe gas emissions by 20%.

story by Metro staffer Ben Kittelson reported that such activists as the Urban Greenspaces Institute's Mike Houck are working with Metro Councilor Bob Stacey and others to help meet the goals.

"We want connectivity (in transportation), but not if it comes at the expense of the environment," Houck said, according to the Metro story.
