Oregon could cancel highway projects

The state could lose about $150 million annually if Congress is unable to find additional money for the Highway Trust Fund.

Federal transportation money that the state expected to land this summer may not materialize. The project funds are expected to run out a bit earlier than the state had expected.

The issue may not affect some summer construction projects: the money's not expected to run out until August.
