Russell Brand is using Generous, a 'pay-what-you-want' platform, on the store section of his website.
Ten percent of purchases on Brand’s site will go to the Russell Brand Foundation.
Half of the team behind Generous are also the folks behind the independent music label and retail store Tender Loving Empire. The idea for Generous first bubbled up about two years ago when label manager Jared Mees was looking for a way to sell music on a pay-what-you-want basis.
