Approximately 9,000 new Oregon Health Plan members lack access to a primary care provider due to a shortage of doctors in the county.
Trillium is one of the Coordinated Care Organizations set up around the state under Medicaid reform with the goal of delivering high-quality medical services at a lower cost.
But with the influx of thousands of new members, Trillium’s job No. 1 is simply making sure that all members have a primary care provider.
