Hard liquor sales could expand

A proposal from Oregon lawmakers would triple the number of locations distilled spirits are sold.

The proposal would be the biggest change to the state-run liquor system since prohibition ended because liquor sales would expand to grocery stores larger than 10,000 square feet and agents (liquor store owners) could set their own retail prices so long as they stayed above an OLCC minimum.
