Columbia Sportswear to profit from cold weather

Record-setting cold temperatures across the nation have the outdoor clothing manufacturer hoping for increased sales.

"This year's record cold should help clear the way for retailers to restock their Fall 2014 shelves with a more complete assortment of updated styles from each of our brands," Columbia spokesman Ron Parham said this week in an email.
