The Oregon Community Foundation reports that Oregon is in the top 20 states for charitable giving and donations to the United Way of Southwestern Oregon are rising.

The Oregon Community Foundation reports that Oregon is in the top 20 states for charitable giving and donations to the United Way of Southwestern Oregon are rising.

“People, by and large, give real well here,” Executive Director Bill Harsh said. “I’m really proud of our community, their caring spirit and willingness to help those in need.”

OCF’s Giving in Oregon project has documented charitable giving in Oregon for more than a decade. It analyzes the donations to over 10,000 Oregon nonprofit organizations.
