Oregon's unemployment rate dropped to 7.3% in November, its lowest point since September of 2008.
Rapid declines in the state’s unemployment rate over the past three months has brought Oregon closer to the national rate of 7.0.
Job gains were widespread among major industries, officials said. Trade, transportation and utilities lead the way adding 1,800 jobs followed by professional and business services adding 1,300 jobs.
