Downtown Eugene business owners concerned about Kesey Square

A growing number of Eugene business owners are worried about drug dealing and other problems around Kesey Square, an area that has undergone recent revitalization.

One option favored by some businesspeople is to replace the square, which is designated as public space, with a community-­oriented building.

A number of people interviewed, from passers-by to skilled architects and tenants of nearby buildings, agree that the square is poorly designed.
