Ruralite Services plans to move from Forest Grove to Hillsboro.

The co-op began as a magazine for rural electric cooperatives in Washington, Idaho and Oregon in 1954.

The company now produces magazines that reach more than 300,000 consumers of electric utility companies in Hawaii, Florida and across the Western region. It offers a information on a range of energy-related topics, such as renewable energy.

With the acquisition of Efficiency Services Group in May, the company needed to find a space with opportunities to expand and amenities, Green said. That includes access to a light-rail.
