Bob's Red Mill plans to open a new Clackamas distribution center in January 2014.
In the past few years, Bob's Red Mill has registered double-digit growth, according to company spokeswoman Ashley Sherrick. The new 125,000-square-foot facility, with more than 30 loading docks, a railway connection and enough space to house 11,000 pallets, will help meet projected growth over the next five years, Sherrick said.
“When we moved into our World Headquarters in 2007, we anticipated the space would meet our needs for 10 to 15 years,” company founder Bob Moore said in a statement. “But we’ve just been going like gangbusters, and already we need this additional space” to meet demand, he said.
