Intel supports marriage equality

Intel came out in favor of same-sex marriage, joining other big businesses in Oregon.

Supporters of same-sex marriage are gathering signatures to put an initiative before Oregon voters in Nov. 2014 that would amend the Oregon constitution to make same-sex marriage legal. A number of prominent Oregon businesses, including Columbia Sportswear Co., Adidas America and Powell’s Books have publicly declared their support for the effort.

The Portland Business Alliance has also backed same-sex marriage, and the new Oregon Business Coalition for Marriage Equality includes representatives from other major Oregon businesses – including Nike, Portland General Electric, the Portland Trail Blazers and the Oregon Business Association.
