In the past three months, at least four tap rooms or growler fill stations have announced plans to open in Eugene-Springfield.
Now add to the list The Tap and Growler, which will celebrate its grand opening on Friday.
First is the dizzying selection of beer and wine on tap: 40 beers, with room for more than 70 total, and 20 wines, with room for 40 total. Local beers and wines are well represented, and several taps pour hard cider, sangria and sake. The taproom also has a selection of nonalcoholic drinks, including kombucha, Agrarian Ales pear soda and Cafe Paccori cold-pressed coffee.
