Royal Caribbean adding 200 call center jobs

Royal Caribbean is adding 200 jobs by the end of the year at its Springfield call center, for a total of about 800 jobs.

The Springfield center is hiring for its annual wave period, January to March, when bookings for cruises crest for the year.

Royal Caribbean’s goal is to hire full-time, permanent workers, but if applicants want to work only for the wave period, the company would accommodate that, said Barbara Otonicar, a personnel executive at the Springfield facility.
