Kitzhaber limits small gold-mining dredges to 850

Gov. Kitzhaber signed a bill that limits the number of small gold-mining dredges in Oregon's rivers.

According to the group Rogue Riverkeeper, the number of permits issued in Oregon jumped from 414 in 2005 to 2,409 in 2012.

The new law caps the number of dredging permits each year at 850. It also directs the Governor’s office to send new suction dredge mining regulations to the legislature by 2015.

The real truth is that there are several very extensive studies following large dredges over a full season. all of these studies find an increase in the macro and life at the dredge location, Also finds the habitat in general is improved for spawning of salmon. Also in all states the season for dredging is 60 days or less, the reason for this is that there are no eggs anywhere at these times. This is the truth from our DEQ. Now why do so called intelligent people continue to look me in the face and say they have never seen a report or study.I have given the deq there own reports that they cant find (Mysteriously) they thank me with a glazed look in their eyes and continue with a political agenda. WE ARE SUPPOSED TO TRUST THESE PEOPLE TO DO THE SCIENCE AND GIVE THE TRUTH ** So we spend millions on new studies. california just did that and the same results came out of it, Nothing is harmed. Then the California fish and game lost the report and is dragging it out before being forced by suit to reveal the results, The truth is A very small group of people that have turned a complete blind eye to the truth are forcing an agenda down the throats of every one. It also doesnt stop there. Does everyone know the the fish and game is giving the money to these groups to pursue these agendas. Very Soon you will be unable to do anything in the woods or on your property. OH Yea you will also be paying a pollutant tax for the rainwater that falls on your land, Stupid HUH Thats the TRUTH without agenda So just sit still and do nothing itll all be OK
