Workers in 35 of Oregon's 36 counties earn average weekly wages below the national average.

The average weekly wage was $1,000 in the United States, according to the federal agency. In comparison, Marion County’s average weekly wage was $760. For Polk County, it was $607.

The average weekly wage in Washington County was $1,101. Multnomah County’s weekly average: $988.
