Johnson Crushers expands

After being hit hard by the recession, Eugene-based Johnson Crushers is moving into new international markets.

JCI’s business dropped 60 percent from 2008 to 2009. The company had to let go of 100 people — a third of its work force — between 2007 and 2009.

Over the next five years, he projects growth of 15 percent a year and anticipates adding 100 employees to JCI’s 300-person work force.
