Oregon's unemployment rose to 7.9% in June.

The leisure and hospitality industry added 1,700 jobs in June, making the sector the strongest in the latest stats on the Oregon job market.

But job gains in the leisure and hospitality industry were offset by losses in trade, transportation and utilities; and educational and health services.
