Tigard-based sports bra company Handful begins production of its sports bras in the U.S.—Salem, specifically—on Monday.

Last week, Handful completed raising $52,230 through crowd-sourced fundraising to afford the start-up expense of moving part of its production from a factory in China to Watershed, the factory in Salem.

Many of the 1,629 contributors at Portland-based Crowd Supply paid $50 for one of the three sports bra colors to be produced at Watershed Manufacturing.
