OSEIA leader steps down

Glenn Montgomery, head of the Oregon Solar Energy Industries Association, is leaving after three years.

"It will be a pivotal time for the solar industry in Oregon, and OSEIA will need a seasoned political operative who is well- prepared to represent our interests in Salem," he said.

Montgomery acknowledged that the industry is facing challenges but noted several clear victories, including passage of feed-in tariff legislation in 2009 and other strategies that ensured "transparency, certainty and equity" for members who worked with Oregon's Public Utility Commission.
