Northeast Portland's Second Glance Books is closing, and then there won't be any used book stores left in the Hollywood District.

Rachelle Markley opened her store about 8-1/2 years ago, but the building at Northeast 45th Avenue and Sandy Boulevard has been a book store for three decades.

Like many other independent booksellers, she said a change in the way people buy and read, plus a lack of foot traffic in the neighborhood, has forced the going-out-of-business sale.
