Clatsop County businesses and governments are requesting $20 million from ODOT for transportation projects.

The funds would come from the ConnectOregon III program's $100 million in lottery-backed funding.

The Port of Astoria's list is the longest, with nearly $11 million in proposed projects that would improve local infrastructure for trains, planes, barges and cargo ships.

The city of Astoria is requesting $3.75 million to rebuild the 17th Street Dock in front of the Columbia River Maritime Museum. The wooden dock, home to two U.S. Coast Guard cutters, tour and recreational boats, is on its last legs and needs to be replaced with a steel and concrete structure.
