Oregon companies are taking precautions to keep their employees from being sidelined by the H1N1 outbreak.

The government estimates that up to 40 percent of the workforce could be affected by the pandemic, either because they’re sick themselves or caring for ill family members.

“That absentee rate will affect operations in our communities, schools and businesses,” Gov. Ted Kulongoski said. “It will affect our economy.”

    I just heard a gentleman took his son to the doctor since he had a temperature of 104. The doc said it was just the flu, but he had to report is the swine flu. The seasonal flu kills an average of 30,000 people/year and right now there are 1,000 people (cases like this one maybe?) that have died from "swine flu".
    Even Obama won't have his daughters vaccinated...
    Think about it and check the ingredients before you take the shot!

    My concern is that the media and the federal government are both responsible for inflating the panic regarding the swine flu.In addition, I understand that the "vaccine" has not had proper Human testing, so for all we know the vaccine would be more dangerous than the virus. I think there is reason for serious concern over the vaccination as well as whether or not there really is a pandemic.

    Personally, I have never had a flu shot and seem to escape each year. I consider myself a very healthy person and believe that my own anti-bodies have developed through the years because in the few events when I did get a virus I would treat it with homeopathic remedies whenever possible to allow my body to build up its own immunity.

    What has Ted done about "JOBS"? This could effect our ecomomy ya think!
