Jos and Deanna Poland both grew up on dairy farms. Today, they own Poland Dairy, an organic dairy farm that produces 37,500 gallons of milk every month.

“One of the main reasons we want to be organic is because we want to see the cows out in the pasture,” said Jos Poland, 44. “They enjoy it, and it’s healthier.”

Poland Dairy is the only organic dairy in Central Oregon, according to Oregon Tilth and the Oregon Farm Bureau.
