Another plant bites the dust with the announcement that Philips Products will close its Stayton location. The door and window manufacturer provided jobs for 125 area residents.

Philips Products, a maker of doors and windows, will close its Stayton plant, putting 125 people out of work, officials said Wednesday.

The move is part of Philips Products' plan to close plants nationwide, which will add as many as 625 workers in six states to the ranks of the unemployed.

Sorry to hear that Philips Products has closed its' doors. It was a great company to work for in its' hey day.
