Study: Excessive TV may be linked to early death

Forbes: A study from the Journal of the American Heart Association suggests that the more TV a person watches, the more likely he or she will die an early death.

Crunching the numbers, the researchers found that people who watched more than three hours of TV per day were twice as likely to die as people who watched one hour or less. The results were consistent even after a number of variables that contribute to early death were accounted for.
