Senator in marathon speech against health care law

BBC: Senator Ted Cruz is in the second day of a speech against the Obama health law, despite opposition from fellow Republicans.

The Tea Party Texan's filibuster-style oratory continued through the night, after he vowed to speak "until I am no longer able to stand".

Some of Sen Cruz's own Republican colleagues accuse him of political grandstanding, warning it could backfire if the government does shut down next week, as scheduled.

At least one elected official is attempting to do what he said he would do if elected. If the clowns in Washington DC, who passed this bill without reading it, feel this bill is so great, then why did they exempt themselves from it? If it is not good enough for them to participate, then why is it good enough for the American public?
