Marylhurst University offers a one-day workshop, Bridges: Career and Life Planning, on Saturday, August 20, 2016.

The workshop is ideal for anyone considering a career change. Participants will get a good start on knowing which careers are right for them. In addition, they will research job prospects for their desired career(s). In the morning, participants will perform self-assessments to evaluate careers. Assessment tools include the Meyers Briggs Type Inventory and the university’s unique Marylhurst Career Chronolog. After lunch, they will explore labor market trends and develop a strategic plan outlining next steps toward a new career.
