The offices of the Herald and News moved from downtown Klamath Falls to a new, geothermally heated building in July. Construction on TimberMill Shores, a 50-acre mixed-use lakefront development in downtown Klamath Falls, is under way.

Bank of the West has relocated its downtown commercial offices to the iconic KOIN Center. Headquarters for Marquette Healthcare Finance will now operate out of One World Trade Center in downtown Portland. Solaix will open a silicon wafer manufacturing plant this fall in the Rivergate Industrial District. Gourmet soda maker Thomas Kemper Soda Company has secured three new distribution agreements.
