More than a dozen local businesses and organizations are helping limited-income neighbors who are struggling to pay their utility bills and stay warm through the winter months.
EWEB’s Run to Stay Warm, an annual event benefiting the utility’s Customer Care program, is made possible by the generous donations of community sponsors.

As the Run to Stay Warm celebrates its 10 year anniversary and the Customer Care program celebrates its 20 year anniversary, EWEB would like to thank the following sponsors for their support of the 2016 event:

Gold level sponsors: Eugene Emeralds, Eugene Magazine, McKenzie Sew On, Run Hub Northwest, Tap and Growler, 811

Silver level sponsors: Bigfoot Beverages, MWMC, Claim52, Pioneer Parkway Family Dental (Dr. Kang), Full City Coffee Roasters, Shelton Turnbull, Sundance Natural Foods

Bronze level sponsors: Bagel Sphere, Dari-Mart/Lochmead, Evergreen Engineering, Gorilla Capital, QSL Printing, Umpqua Bank, Valley River Inn, Wildish

“Much like EWEB, our sponsors have a proud history in the community and strive to stay connected to the people and neighborhoods they serve,” said Jose Wren, the Run to Stay Warm sponsor coordinator. “We’re so thankful for their generous support of this great community event.”

EWEB’s Run to Stay Warm, featuring a half-marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids’ 400-meter dash, is on Sunday, Nov. 20. The event starts at EWEB Headquarters, 500 E. Fourth Ave, follows the beautiful trails along the Willamette River, and ends at EWEB’s River Edge Plaza.

In its first nine years, the run raised more than $165,000 for EWEB’s Customer Care Program.
