The state’s largest Catholic diocese plans to move its headquarters from Bend to a 37-acre site six miles south of Powell Butte within the next two years. In an effort to serve high-class clients, Desert Sun Industries plans to be the third fixed-based operation catering to luxury clients at the Redmond Airport.

Central Oregon continues adding to its business community with the announcement of Oregon Dental Services’ plan to open a satellite office and dental-hygiene school. Patients no longer have to make a three-hour trip to Portland for heart treatments now that a new heart center has opened its doors in Bend.
