After five years of steady climbing, most of Oregon’s airports experienced a drop in passenger traffic in 2008. Portland International (PDX), Eugene and Medford airports declined 2.4%, 5.1% and 5.8%, respectively, but Central Oregon’s airport in Redmond held its own with a 0.2% increase in passengers. Domestic airline fares at PDX remained lower than those of Seattle and San Francisco, but higher than Las Vegas and Sacramento in the third quarter of 2008. |

From Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute: OTRADI today announced its plans to open and operate a 13,000 square-foot multi-tenant bioscience complex in the Willamette Wharf building at 4640 SW Macadam Avenue. Slated to be complete in spring 2013, the OTRADI Bioscience Incubator (OBI) will house up to six companies.
