Controlled Demolition of Maryland imploded a large portion of the former International Paper mill on May 6. Staton Companies of Eugene continues demolition of the site but hired the contractor responsible for imploding Seattle’s Kingdome and the Trojan Nuclear Power Plant because of the dangerous top-heavy boilers.
