Desert Sun Holdings, a subsidiary of developer Desert Sun Development, has submitted plans to the city of Redmond for a proposed 40,000-square-foot, $4.5 million indoor motocross facility. The Motomax complex will include 6,000 square feet of motocross-related retail operations and a motorcycle repair shop. Company president Tyler Fitzsimons expects the all-weather business to open in late February 2007 as a practice facility and eventually a site for racing events.
