The employment outlook for recent college graduates is grim. Only 13% of respondents rated the job market as very good; 85% were neutral or pessimistic about the chances of landing gainful post-secondary work. Young people planning on entering the job market should consider pursuing an internship, ranked by 50% of respondents as the most important differentiator in the hiring process. Research partner CFM Strategic Communications conducted the survey of 392 readers in June.
