The Brothers K By David James Duncan

“I try to read one fiction book per quarter, not always successfully. This hauntingly beautiful story of a Camas, Washington-based family took me two quarters to complete, mostly because I savored every page. This book is truly a masterpiece and an affirmation of how mysteriously the world works.

Netflix Culture: Freedom and Responsibility By Reed Hastings

“OK, this isn’t really a book. It’s a 126-slide PowerPoint deck where Reed lays out the killer culture at Netflix in awe-inspiring detail. As a co-founder at Elemental, I believe strongly that our culture is the fundamental enabler to building a sustainable company for the long term.”
