The past few years have been a challenging time for the construction industry. But employees at this firm never thought twice about getting through it, as a team. “The basic philosophy is that we are stronger working together than working alone,” says one employee. Says another worker: “The cohesive teamwork we have makes it enjoyable to go to work every day, which is difficult to find in a construction company these days.” Good times or bad, employees also heaped praise on the owner for creating an upbeat family-like work environment. “He keeps a great balance of work and fun,” says one worker. “He’s always doing small things for the office staff to let them know they are appreciated.” Says another employee: “I’m never bored, I love what I do, and I look forward to coming to work every day.” An employer can’t ask for much more than that!
