Milwaukie-based Bob’s Red Mill took first place in an annual Scottish porridge contest.
Bob’s Red Mill beat the Scots on their own home turf to take top honors in an annual competition.
The title came with cash prizes and a Golden Spurtle Trophy presented by Miss Scotland, Katharine Brown. A spurtle is a traditional stirring stick that creams the lumps out of porridge.
