The 23rd annual 100 Best Companies to Work For in Oregon list was announced Thursday night at an awards dinner at the Oregon Convention Center. More than 230 companies participated in this year’s 100 Best survey, which analyzes Oregon companies’ best practices toward creating great places to work. This year, over 9,000 Oregon employees completed the survey.
The private sector needs to play a bigger role in increasing the amount of affordable housing for Portland’s low- and moderate-income residents, said panelists at a breakfast seminar hosted by Oregon Business magazine today.
