The Columbia River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission announced fishers from four tribes are on the Columbia River for the gillnet fishery of the 2013 fall commercial season.

The tribal fishers open commercial sales to wholesale fish dealers and the public through October. Peak abundance is typically just before Labor Day through mid-September.

And some local restaurants and markets are ready for the harvest.
