As the Times reported, the 200 highest-paid chief executives on average earned less than they did the previous year. Average pay for the top 200 in 2015 was $19.3 million  â€” a 15% drop from 2014.

A few CEOs with ties to the Pacific Northwest caught our eye:

Mark Parker, CEO of Nike, bucked the trend; his compensation increased 15% from the prior year, to $16.8 million.

Howard Schultz, CEO, Starbucks, brought in $20.1 million, a 6% drop compared to 2014.

Brian M. Krzanich, CEO, Intel, earned $14.6 million, a whopping 31% increase over 2014 — despite the fact that Intel revenues declined 1% during the same period.
