Pipeworks Studios doubles workforce


The Eugene-based video game developer sold to Digital Brothers out of Milan, Italy in September 2014. The studio has since almost doubled its workforce to 75 employees.

Since then, the Eugene studio has nearly doubled its workforce to 75, paid $2.5 million to buy the downtown Eugene building where it had been renting, and shifted its business model, enabling it to get more of its own games to players, president Lindsay Gupton said.

‘I would categorize this year as the most exciting in our history,’ he said, noting that the firm is now in its 17th year.
