Oregon Business survey

Wednesday, February 01, 2006

Businesses overwhelmingly say Oregon policies are more favorable to big companies, with only 18% saying small businesses have a better situation, according to the 681 respondents to our online survey, conducted quarterly by Conkling Fiskum & McCormick.

Oregon receives high marks for a friendly business environment and 73% of those surveyed would recommend the state to other companies. The quality of K-12 education and transportation infrastructure is worrisome and there’s a split over the workforce’s potential, but few deny Oregon’s natural beauty.
