A new retail center has broken ground near Fred Meyer. The 6,317-square-foot, $3 million center will house five stores, including a drive-through Starbucks. Burger King will lease space adjacent to the center for a restaurant as well. Owner Gary Gilbert from Atlas Investments says Atlas chose the Tillamook site because “It’s a good site next to Fred Meyer. There has been a lot of residential growth and a fair amount of commercial growth.” Jack Katz from Mildren Design Group in Tigard is the architect.
