 The Southern Oregon construction industry will have new competition when J.F. Shea Co. sets up shop in Central Point and begins bidding on public works and highway construction projects in Southern Oregon. The Shea office is expected to open by early next year. Shea, known for work on projects such as the Hoover Dam and the Golden Gate Bridge, will employ some 10 people initially, with more employees hired when the company wins its first bid and starts work. |

Bioscience complex will house six local companies in 2013
From Oregon Translational Research and Development Institute: OTRADI today announced its plans to open and operate a 13,000 square-foot multi-tenant bioscience complex in the Willamette Wharf building at 4640 SW Macadam Avenue. Slated to be complete in spring 2013, the OTRADI Bioscience Incubator (OBI) will house up to six companies.
